Mr. Oros stated that the Office for Women has been working with New York State on a program called New York Alerts, which will allow women who file for an order of protection to track when that order has been served and is in affect. He stated that once it is completed we will be the first county in the state to participate in the program.

Mr. Oros said that Ms. Balistreri will be happy to provide more information to the Committee once she is well. He said all of the programs continue to operate.

Legislator Myers asked for a list of all of the contracts and dollar amounts that the Office for Women has, as we have received in past years.
