BOND-RB117-Mill Rd, Eastchester & New Rochelle

On motion of Mr. Harckham the above item was received, filed and referred to the Committees on Budget & Appropriations and Government Operations.

Mr. Pisco stated that the PCI in 2010 was 72 and the annual number of cars was 14,739. Ms. Yazzetta stated that the $830,000 originally requested for this project was included in the 2010 Capital Budget.

The subcommittee members are awaiting a revised/updated FIS and Capital Project Fact Sheet on this - and the other - revised bonds.

Chair Williams stated that he will move this item to B&A, provided that the updated information that has also been requested for the previous items will be submitted to the subcommittee members for this item as well.

This was added to the Capital Budget in 2010. Chair L. Williams asked if this had been paved before and it was not. The description states this will be paved from White Plains Road to Wilmot Road. Chair L. Williams wanted to know if this legislation for paving had anything to do with the previous paving of Wilmot Road and did it cause flooding. It did not.

With a motion by Legislator Myers, seconded by Legislator Perez, this item was approved with a vote of 7-0.

This is for the design of 0.9 miles of road from White Plains Road to Wilmot Road. This will rehabilitate the road by milling, resurfacing and new pavement markings. This was appropriated in 2010. On the motion of Legislator Marcotte, seconded by Legislator Smith, the motion was carried by a vote of 6-0 (Myers, Shimsky, Ryan, Spreckman, Smith, Marcotte). This had previously been signed out of the Committee on Government Operations.

Ms. Borgia presented the report and Bond Act and moved that the report be received, filed and approved and the Bond Act adopted, which motion was carried by the following vote.
